This weekend was Miche’s birthday which was alot of fun and began with a trip down to Cheam on Friday night for a meal out with her family. Narrowly escaped a visit to Ikea as I had work to finish for the end of my contract (phew!). Saturday was her actual birthday and we went for a picnic on the universally famous (according to miche) Box Hill and then back to Southampton for the best Fajitas I’ve had for ages with a few friends.
Been a bit ill since around last thursday, starting with a fever and sore throat on thurs morn. The fever lasted about 24hours and I was just left with a sore throat, until this morn when I couldn’t sleep again with a fever and this time more fluey symptoms. Ah well got doctors appointment tommorow so they should be able to give me something to shift it.
Also got another 4month contract working with the uni which is good. This time around Ill be working mainly on a Javascript project. Its quite interesting and the specific strand of the job ill be doing is quite interlinked with music, possibly with ties to BBC and Channel4 so that could be very cool! Had to spend the day in uni though today trying to shadow the guy ill be taking over from, which is hard with a headache and being tired… almost fell asleep watching him code this avo… not good! I may have to spend the next few days on site then im free to work were I please again, which will be much better
