Jellybass is officially here!
It had its first proper airing @ Temporary Assignment @ The Soul Cellar on wednesday night and went down really well. Spent the whole day constructing sampler CD’s and we sold quite a few which made the hardwork all worthwhile.
Just waiting on the photos for the Album artwork then the full album will be released, so watch this space…
You might have heard this remix of the classic Radiohead track being played on Radio 1, this is the video…. very cool!
Happy Birthday to Mr Wickens! Had a wicked time snowboarding till we all got turfed off for being crap… no idea what gave them that impression…. cough… photo… cough….

Just got back from my second visit to The Brook for this week, saw Alice Russell (most famous for being the singer from the ‘Quantic Soul Orchestra’) with her own band and it was incredible. Six piece band, drums, keys (often switching between 3 units mid song), electric violin, bass, electric guitar and of course Alice on vocals.
Really feel good tunes and you could tell they were having alot of fun, the keyboardist obviously lived to play… some crazy ass solos on lead synth properly funked up the place!
Will definately be getting her new album.. when I get some cash (doh!)

This is going to be a great night, definately one to support. Some great visuals, art and music! It will also be the first ever public airing of the ‘JellyBass’ sound… not just a musical style, its a movement

Just got back from an evening of dryslope snowboarding with Miche and the boys! So tired but absolutely loved it. Pretty good value for money aswell, ?Ǭ£11 for 3 hours including boot, board and pad hire. Couple of cuts and scratches but all in all came off pretty lightly with only one perticualy notible wipeout. To be honest the most exhausting part is manuevaring at the top and bottom of slope and holding onto the pully that takes you to the top.
Will definately be going again, great way to spend an evening!

So good! Reminds me of playing N64 with school mates many years ago, still one of the most entertaining games ever!
