Had a crap day yesterday and to top it off my phone gave up the ghost and would let me use it asking, forcing me to enter a ‘restriction code’. Called Orange, about as unhelpful as ever telling me it would be ?Ǭ£300 for a replacement and a ?Ǭ£100 admin fee… yeah right!
Did a quick google this morning and found a few posts on the net, seems that this is a really common problem with the 6280 and can be easily fixed:
- Start phone without simcard in
- Remove battery when phone is on
- Put simcard back in phone and turn on
This worked perfectly! Hope this helps anyone who is unlucky enough to have this phone problem… now how simple is that Orange you money grabbing scamming gits!?
